The Global Zone, organized by Vision Culture with the Cultural Diplomacy Club (CDC), is a key program of the UNESCO Seonjeongneung Cultural Street Festival in Seoul. Designed to foster cultural diplomacy, it brings together embassies and international partners within the historic setting of Seonjeongneung.
Expanding from 13 to 22 participating countries, the program features over 35 curated booths showcasing global cuisine, crafts, and cultural experiences—creating an immersive “world tour” for visitors. Live performances and interactive activations further encourage direct engagement and cross-cultural exchange.
By integrating global perspectives into a heritage site, the Global Zone strengthens the festival’s identity as an internationally oriented platform, connecting local audiences with diverse cultures in an open, accessible environment.
